What Have the Changes Been in GPSC Recruitment Rules?

Gujarat Public Service Commission has recently announced a rather important change whereby recruitment will now occur in two stages:

  • Preliminary Examination: This would mean an objective test to be cleared by the candidates for qualifying for the next stage.
  • Mains Examination: Accompanied by a written test, the candidates shall also undergo a personality test comprising a physical test that shall assess their suitability for the classification.

The syllabus and exam pattern must be issued well before the examinations at the insistence of the General Administration Department, permitting candidates sufficient time for preparation. Following this, will also be a gazette notification announcing the rules, from the order of preference to other important guidelines.
